Celebrating Chondrosarcoma Awareness Day
To honor Chondrosarcoma Awareness Day. our family and friends put on our Yellow ribbons wore yellow clothes we went to my daughter Shayna’s grave site this afternoon. My brother Rick drove up from Atlanta, Georgi, my brother Mark, his wife Karen and daughter Kylie from New Jersey. We paid tribute to Shayna, shared stories about her. wished her a happy 31st heavenly birthday, gave a progress report on the foundation and the other dedications we have done to honor Shayna. We vowed that we would keep fighting for Shayna and all those who lost their battle with Chondrosarcoma and support and advocate for those who are fighting.
We left painted rocks with messages to Shayna, a windmill and flags that said “Stay Shayna Strong.” We all also blew bubbles that are symbolized as kisses going to Shayna in heaven.
Thank you to everyone that participated in this day.
