September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
In September, we honor the gold ribbon in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! ✨
Did you know cancer is the second leading cause of death in children under the age of 15? In 2020, approximately 11,000 children ages 1-14 will be diagnosed with cancer. Medical and technological advances, however, now provide that about 85% of those diagnosed will survive an additional 5 years compared to statistics from earlier decades.
