Help make a difference in the Diagnosis of Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma
John Gross, M.D. is a Faculty Associate professor, and bone and soft tissue surgical pathologist at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is also one of the founding board members of the Chondrosarcoma Foundation and has been instrumental and inspirational in building the Foundation as well as establishing our mission and vision and offering the content to build our programs (especially our Patient Registry) to serve Chondrosarcoma patients, families and caregivers to address unmet needs.
Dr. Gross has a unique opportunity to help mesenchymal chondrosarcoma patients. He has been asked to write the chapter for mesenchymal chondrosarcoma in the Sixth edition of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Tumors of Soft Tissue and Bone. This publication is the international authority on pathology tumor classification and a state-of-the-art reference on soft tissues and skeleton tumors.
In preparation to write this chapter, Dr. Gross would like to review pathology slides and cases of anyone diagnosed with mesenchymal chondrosarcoma. Your effort in sharing your information will make a huge contribution to help pathologists globally improve diagnosis and contribute to better care.
Please read the letter below for details in how you can make a difference.
