    Fund Raiser by Multicultural Academy Charter School in Philadelphia

    Amber Sarcone, a Counselor and Special Education Teacher at the Multicultural Academy Charter School in Philadelphia, PA was diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma in March, 2021 and had a major surgery that has caused her to not be able to walk. Amber has a fund raiser for Chondrosarcoma Awareness Day asking her students to bring in spare/loose change to drop in a jar during Home Room, Lunch or at End of the day. The total ($765) was donated to the CS Foundation in honor of all CS warriors! Amber hosted a pizza party to celebrate the top 10 donators. The Multicultural Academy Charter School is a College Preparatory Junior High / High School locted in the heart of Philadelphia, PA.
