Bone cancer awareness amongst healthcare professionals and the public is vitally important for improving outcomes for patients. Harmony’s symptoms started with a lump on her left arm, she also started feeling tired and developed tingling feelings in her fingers. She was initially diagnosed with an infection and given antibiotics. A friend of the family, who is a paramedic booked Harmony an X-ray which revealed the damage to her arm and that it had been eating into her bone. A biopsy followed and confirmed it was Ewing sarcoma.
